OPTX International's New ScreenWatch Producer 5.0 Screen Recording Software Comes Packed with New Features

The Best Screen Recording Software Just Got Better with the Release of ScreenWatch Producer 5.0

CHICO, Calif. (Sept. 25, 2002) -- OPTX International's ScreenWatch™ Producer 5.0 software makes recording, streaming, archiving, and publishing presentations, workplace communications, and standup classroom instruction better than ever before. User friendly ScreenWatch delivers professional publishing with a host of new features ranging from auto publishing for multiple bandwidths to powerful advanced editing capabilities.
"We've solved the hardest part of creating presentations for the Internet," explains Senior Vice President of OPTX International, Jerry Anderson. "The real work is professionally publishing presentations to the Web. Here is where we excel. If you don't have the capability to produce scores of Web-ready presentations daily, then you need ScreenWatch Producer 5.0. Our customers count on ScreenWatch to produce smooth, crisp, professional results every time."
New ScreenWatch Producer 5.0 features OPTX Screen Capture Codec Version 9 plug-in that automatically publishes a single recording for streaming to multiple bandwidths, including 56k dial up, DSL, and broadband. This software offers new lower bandwidths for live Webcasting and advanced-user editing for client-side rendered transitions between screen clips. ScreenWatch publishes directly to Learning Management Systems. And with eight new publishing templates, including four templates that are SCORM-compliant, ScreenWatch customizes the look and feel of each published presentation.
With new ScreenWatch Producer 5.0, it's easy to create a dynamic table of contents using a "hot-key" function to bookmark presentation sections. This allows the viewer to randomly access presentation contents.
ScreenWatch includes the world-class Milori Training Tools that help create dynamic presentations with such real-time functions as screen markup, highlighting mouse clicks, capturing still screen shots, application launching, and magnifying key points presented on a computer display.
OPTX also announces that ScreenWatch Producer 5.0 includes additional audio support for Windows Media. ScreenWatch supports new Heli™ Producer and Firewire.
ScreenWatch Producer is the only screen capture software supporting RealServer, Linux®, Solaris™, HP-UX, and Windows 200/NT systems. ScreenWatch records using Windows 2000 and XP. It produces SCORM-compliant objects, and plays back using RealNetworks® and Windows Media streaming technology.
OPTX serves universities and corporations requiring perfect quality screen recording and playback. Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Lawrence Livermore National laboratory, Lincoln National Laboratories, Oracle®, and Verizon have adopted ScreenWatch. ScreenWatch is distributed worldwide. Visit www.screenwatch.com, call 530/899-2100 or e-mail sales@optx.com.
