Recording Capabilities and High Color; Stop by Booth No. 2513 at
the OnLine Learning Conference, Denver, Colorado
OPTX International announces its ScreenWatch(TM) screen recording software now
supports Windows Media(TM) Architecture. Version 3.0, of ScreenWatch, now
available for beta testing, also adds the ability to record Windows 2000
desktops in high color, making it possible to capture and stream full motion,
screen activity in over 65,000 colors. ScreenWatch records a range of screen
resolutions at more than 30 fps and requires only a 24 kbps bandwidth. Those
capabilities reinforce OPTX International's position as the leader in perfect
image recording for streamable screen captured content.
"With this added support for Windows Media, ScreenWatch now provides its users
with high-quality screen recording and playback regardless of their choice of
streaming technology," said Brian Meyerpeter, CEO of OPTX International. "For 18
months, we've been providing the optimal solution for screen capture and
playback in RealNetworks environments, and we're excited to be able to bring
this robust solution to organizations using Windows Media. ScreenWatch, with its
ability to stream from Window NT, Windows 2000, Linux, and Solaris(TM) now
provides unmatched flexibility to users."
"ScreenWatch is the ideal solution for our screen capture and playback
requirements," said Rupert McGinty, president of AtClassNow, a provider of
multimedia training solutions. "Our customers demand high-quality productions,
and ScreenWatch makes it possible to satisfy those requirements. Unlike other
products we've tried, ScreenWatch provides lossless, smooth playback - the best
we've seen."
