OPTX International Announces that CAD-TV is Introducing Two New Courses Using ScreenWatch 2.0

CHICO, Calif., May 23, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- OPTX International
announces that David Kingsley, CEO of CAD-TV Corporation, introduces two new
courses that are streamed over the Internet using ScreenWatch 2.0. Available in
June, the courses include "Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing" for
engineering drafting, and "Machine Shop 101" for designers and drafters to gain
knowledge about machine shops. "Without ScreenWatch I would not have been able
to produce these courses quickly or cost-effectively," says Kingsley.

With ScreenWatch, Kingsley just records his Computer Aided design (CAD) training sessions and produces Internet-ready courses in one simple, direct process. ScreenWatch is the full-motion screen recording software that provides multimedia producers with the capability to stream output from a computer monitor on the Internet without any image degradation or distortion. ScreenWatch also offers defined region recording capabilities, high-quality, full-motion screen capture at a bandwidths as low as 14 kpbs so that it can reach the maximum audience possible. ScreenWatch gives Kingsley the capability of reducing production time so that it takes just two hours of production for one hour of Internet-ready coursework. Currently CAD-TV's course offerings include "Introduction to AutoCAD" and "Introduction to Mechanical Desktop."

Kingsley produces his CAD training courses for individual end users, software dealer networks and corporate training seminars. Individuals who have used CAD-TV, find the training more affordable than regular college courses and it is available at their convenience. There are also advantages for those customers who are software dealers. These companies know that good CAD trainers are hard to find, the software dealers can offer access to my courses on-line as part of a special training package or as value-added technical support."

Kingsley founded the company in 1998 in response to a market need for low-cost, web-based CAD training. Kingsley brings his company 30 years experience in the design and manufacturing business, including 19 years of CAD training, "I'm excited about the opportunities that ScreenWatch offers me and how viable it makes CAD-TV," says Kingsley.
