CHICO,
Calif. (Oct 17, 2002) -- OPTX International releases its Japanese version of ScreenWatch
Producer™ 5.0 that features exceptional screen capture results for dial-up modem
users. ScreenWatch 5.0 is the only scalable screen recording software that combines
video and voice with applications, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and whiteboard content
in real-time for streaming. TMX specializes in technical streaming products that
provide multimedia presentations and training for Japanese companies and universities. Vice
President of Sales for TMX, Mutsuhiko Tada, comments, "While localization is helpful
in our market, I think the exceptional quality results, smooth mouse movement
and low bandwidth are the most important features of ScreenWatch. A lot of software
offers rich media authoring, but only ScreenWatch makes it possible to create
full motion, full screen recordings complete with a dynamically generated table
of contents." For additional information about TMX, visit http://www.tmx.co.jp/. ScreenWatch
Producer 5.0 makes it easy to create a table of contents using a "hot-key" function
to bookmark presentation sections. This allows viewers to randomly access content.
This software also features automatic publishing of a single recording for streaming
to multiple bandwidths, including 56K dial-up, DSL and broadband. This software
offers lower bandwidths for live Webcasting and advanced-user editing for client-side
rendered transitions between screen clips. ScreenWatch publishes templates, including
four SCORM-compliant templates, which customize the look of each completed presentation.
ScreenWatch includes the world-class Milori Training
Tools. These tools help create powerful presentations with such real-time functions
as screen markup, a highlighting mouse click, still screen shot captures, application
launching, and key point magnification. ScreenWatch Producer is the only screen
capture software supporting RealServer, Linux®, Solaris™, HP-UX, and Windows
2000/NT systems. ScreenWatch records using Windows 2000 and XP. It plays back
using RealNetworks® and Windows Media streaming technology. OPTX
serves universities and corporations requiring high-quality screen recording and
playback. Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Lawrence Livermore
National laboratories, Lincoln National Laboratories, Oracle®, and Verizon
have adopted ScreenWatch. ScreenWatch is distributed worldwide. Visit http://www.screenwatch.com/,
