GENERAL
1. What is ScreenWatch Producer? - ScreenWatch Producer allows users to
record, publish and view their presentations and lectures simply. Present
or lecture with ScreenWatch Producer running in the background on your PC.
Your audio, video, and anything on your PC are recorded in sync in REAL-Time.
The results are a professional presentation complete with video and audio
of the presenter and full screen, full motion (all the smooth mouse movement)
visual aids!
2. What is a complete professional presentation? - ScreenWatch Producer publishes
your presentation or lecture by placing your video (your image with audio)
and your visual aids (computer screen content) together within a template
of your choosing. The audience--your viewers--may see this presentation streaming
to them via broadband or 56K dial up access anytime, any place over the web.
You, also, may elect to publish to CD-ROM so that viewers without even dial
up access can see your presentations, too!
3. How does ScreenWatch Producer compare to other presentation solutions?
- Unlike programming and post-production authoring-software packages that
require highly skilled multimedia producers using complex and time-consuming
procedures, ScreenWatch Producer is a simple to use software package that
works in the background during your presentations in Real-Time. ScreenWatch
Producer automatically records audio, video and anything on your PC (whiteboard,
spreadsheets, PowerPoint, medical images, and etc) and instantly creates professional
presentations
4. What are the benefits of ScreenWatch Producer? - ScreenWatch is focused
specifically to the non-multimedia-trained users who present, lecture and
communicate and require delivery via the web or CD-ROM. The objective is to
publish your presentations, lectures and communications online quickly without
programming or post-production. Have an LMS or CMS that is SCORM compliant?
ScreenWatch Producer has publishing templates that integrate within those
systems. Does your audience have access to intranet, internet broadband or
56K dial up modem? No problem. You can publish so that even those with 56K
modems can see your presentations!
5. What is streaming media? - Streaming media is audio and video content that
is digitally encoded and transferred over a computer network or the Internet
for viewing on a multimedia-equipped PC. Streaming media is not downloaded
as a file, but rather is played as it arrives. Streaming media content always
resides on a hosted server. The viewer does not download a copy to his or
her PC.
6. Can ScreenWatch Producer be used for Live events? - ScreenWatch Producer
can be used to record presentations for on demand viewing and, at the same
time, Live Webcast your presentations on the Internet. Any copy of ScreenWatch
Producer may Live Webcast with an additional license. ScreenWatch Live Webcast
is the most versatile web communication software on the market. Live Webcast
can be viewed on the ubiquitous RealOne Player Basic. You can use the player
to watch live or on-demand presentations. Any Web browser supporting streaming
media can view all your presentations captured during a ScreenWatch Producer
Live Webcast.
7. How easy is it to use ScreenWatch Producer software? - Very simple. ScreenWatch
Producer is designed to not impede your presentation or interfere with your
presentation style or pacing during recording or live webcasting. Commands:
Alt F8 to Start, Alt F5 for Table of Contents entry and Alt F9 to Stop. Learn
three key combinations. That is it!
8. How easyis is it to use ScreenWatch Producer for Live Webcasting? - It
is as simple as making a recording of any of your presentations. Use ScreenWatch
Producer's intuitive interface to choose and select templates to set up the
session. Hit the recording key combination Alt F8 to start Live Webcasting.
Alt F9 stops the session. It is that simple.
9. What can I use for my visual aids in my Presentations, Lectures and Communications?
- Any PC based visual aids that you would normally use or project during a
presentation or lecture. For example, spreadsheets, CAD drawings, Medical
Images, Websites, Web Searches, electronic whiteboards, computer applications.
As you use your mouse for a pointer, and your Wacom Tablet for drawing, writing,
changing applications, and moving between PowerPoint and WebPages, ScreenWatch
Producer records it all in sync with the video and audio of the presenter.
APPLICATIONS
1. Benefits of ScreenWatch Producer presentations? - ScreenWatch Producer
presentations delivered online or via CD-ROM provide presenters and lecturers
the opportunity to share information with geographically dispersed audiences
and students very efficiently and effectively at a very low software cost.
Unlike other presentation systems, ScreenWatch software lets you own the presentations
and lectures. No per month per presentation charges, no annual streaming contracts,
no setup fees.
2. Who uses ScreenWatch Producer software? - ScreenWatch Producer software
is used in a variety of industries, throughout organizations and institutions
that require a SCALABLE, quick and simple method to record real-time presentations
and lecture for delivery on the web or CD-ROM. ScreenWatch Producer is the
only scalable application for fast-paced, cost-conscious organizations ranging
from medicine, manufacturing, and retail to government agencies, professional
associations and educational institutions. ScreenWatch Producer recording
does not require huge storage requirements, massive numbers of servers and
increased staff to program hundreds of hours of content elements, since they
are not videocentric.
3. How can ScreenWatch Producer Presentations be used in the University or
the Corporate environments? - ScreenWatch Producer is used in corporations
as a cost-effective and easy way to train employees or sales teams on new
product information, new company policies or new ways of doing business. For
example, a human resources department that needs to train all employees on
a new policy can simply make a complete and professional presentation explaining
the policy and give all employees access to that presentation on the corporate
intranet. Human resources executives save time by not giving the same presentation
multiple times. The executives can also reduce the amount of travel that is
required to make sure all employees are familiar with the new policy. Universities
use ScreenWatch Producer to deliver lectures online or Live Webcast guest
lecturer presentations. The university professors and lecturers focus is on
the delivery of the lecture. Professors should not tolerate interference in
the delivery by pulling levers, operating switches and etc. ScreenWatch Producer
is a simple way to take control of recording the lectures and publishing to
the web so that students can review the lectures that very day. Seek to different
sections of the presentations using the Table of Contents. Watch the lecture
over again for review.
4. How can ScreenWatch Producer be used for Product Marketing? - Marketing
managers use ScreenWatch Producer to record presentations on new product releases
so that rather than travel to multiple corporate locations, a presentation
is available over the corporate intranet where sales people and other marketing
employees can view the presentation. This is a low bandwidth solution with
no huge videocentric files to manage and deliver.
5. Can ScreenWatch Producer Live Webcast be used for corporate briefings?
- ScreenWatch Producer Live Webcasting is a delivery alternative to traditional
executive briefings, which typically involve a large number of technical support
staff and expensive webcasting contracts. ScreenWatch Producer Live Webcasting
delivers the professional presentation over the corporate intranet and Internet
and avoids the high, hidden costs of the expensive services.
6. Can ScreenWatch Producer Live Webcast be used for conferences and meetings?
- ScreenWatch Producer Live Webcasting is used to share conference presentations
as well as other keynote speeches that individuals unable to attend in person
want to view live from the Web. ScreenWatch Producer will also make possible
on-demand access by viewers who cannot attend the event. Further, any conference
that must be shared to a large audience, particularly those that disseminate
information from one to many, can benefit from using ScreenWatch Live Webcasting.
7. How is ScreenWatch Producer used for Education? - ScreenWatch Producer
is used for distance education and online learning programs. ScreenWatch Producer
is used to record lectures and make them available online, either live or
on-demand. Support for SCORM compliant LMS or CMS is also included with ScreenWatch
Producer. In addition, school districts can use ScreenWatch to help maintain
community relations, by recording superintendents' communications for the
parents to review or putting school board meetings on the Web.
8. How does ScreenWatch Producer compare to other presentations on the web
or CD-ROM? - ScreenWatch Producer is absolutely the simplest and quickest
way to record and publish presentations. ScreenWatch Producer's design allows
presenters and lecturers to concentrate on delivery of their presentations
and lectures. Other videocentric solutions require many additional time consuming
authoring and post-production steps to get their presentations on the web.
With ScreenWatch Producer, you simply give the presentation as you normally
would. As you deliver your presentation ScreenWatch Producer records everything.
When your presentation is finished you're done, ScreenWatch has saved a copy
of your presentation so you can publish and have your viewers access it on-demand
at their convenience within minutes after the close of the presentation or
lecture. Publish to CD-ROM for those viewers who have no access to 56k modem
dial up or broadband internet.
9. Can we use ScreenWatch Producer to record meetings? - Record the meeting
by connecting your notebook computer mic input to the audio conferencing unit
output. Record the presentations and meeting audio all at the same moment.
A complete archived copy of the meeting is available for viewing by end users
over the intranet or Web.
